Day 1: Transfer Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today after your breakfast, from your hotel of residence meet our guide and after leave Kampala for a long a whole day drive towards the western part of Uganda. On your way take stopover at the equator for photos, snacks and souvenirs’ shopping. Lunch en-route at Agip motel in Mbarara town and proceed the drive through the verdant countryside. You will pass traditional homesteads and Community Banda’s. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge/Engagi lodge or Buhoma Camp/ Bwindi view inn. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

6 Days Gorilla Trekking Uganda and RwandaToday, we shall have our early morning cup of coffee. Thereafter transfer to the starting point of the activity for briefing and later enter into the tropical rain forest jungle to search the shy mountain gorillas. For this adventure to be much awesome for you, you are required to be fit since it is always distant walk depending on the primates’ movement.

More so the following requirements are necessary: hiking shoes, hut, insect repellent, rain gears, packed lunch and bottled water, cameras. A unique and unforgettable experience from these giant apes is limited to one hour so carry the cameras to shoot memorable future images. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda

After our early breakfast, with your local guide take village walk for a closer meeting with the local communities to the Bakiga home stead’s, local breweries, traditional healers, Batwa performances and the local communities craft shops. This walk is so much beneficial to the client’s and communities as the money out of the walk is allocated to the social-economical developmental projects. Return to lodge for lunch, Afterwards we depart to the stunning Volcanoes national Park and relax at the lodge for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge or Kinigi Guest House. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes

Today after your breakfast from the lodge, meet the park officials for briefing. Thereafter enter into the jungle for the second chance to trek the mountain gorillas of Rwanda. You will hike into Volcano Virunga Hills and green Valley in search for the gorillas. After trekking you will be transferred back to your lodge dinner and overnight stay. Remember to carry yourself the rain gears, hut, insect repellent, walk-able shoes and cameras. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 5: Dian Fossey and Volcanoes

After your breakfast, visit the Dian Fossey center, she was an American and primatologist who advocated for the conservation of mountain gorillas in Rwanda. While at this destination you will experience her work and it is her effort we still experience gorillas in volcanoes. Return to lodge for your lunch and after in evening trek the mountain volcanoes and for this experience you are required to be fit. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board

Day 6: Return to Kigali city

Today we shall have early morning breakfast and thereafter drive to Kigali city with en-route city tour and visit places like Karisoke memorial center, Museums, Local markets and schools. Lunch en-route and in evening drive to Kanombe international airport to board your flight back home. Meal plan: Half-Board
